KIST-Korea University Collaborative Program

As part of its collaborative educational program, KIST offers exceptional students from Korea University (KU) the opportunity to conduct research at KIST. This program has been extended to a limited number of interested and qualified foreign students. Like the UST Consortium, accepted KU international students reside on the KIST campus and participate in challenging guided research projects at the institute. Interdisciplinary coursework is offered both at KIST and KU, leading to an MS or PhD award at the completion of the program.

Korea University was established in 1905 and its academic excellence compliments KIST's offerings in practical research experience. Its campus is located a 10-minute walk from KIST.

KU students receive the same benefits as IRDA students in the UST consortium have; monthly stipend, housing, medical services, etc.

All interested applicants must be admitted to both IRDA and Korea University to participate in this program. An application form is available at the IRDA website (http://irda.kist.re.kr) or at the Korea University website (www.korea.ac.kr).
