Properties of Ceramics
This course is designed to be an intensive survey of the chemical methods and their application to the synthesis of alkaloid natural products. Emphasis will be placed on functional group transformations and carbon-nitrogen bond forming reactions, and especially on synthetic strategies for alkaloid natural product.
The goals of this course are as followings;
1) to recognize modern synthetic reagents and illustrate their common use(s) with sample reactions of their devising
2) to understand and illustrate the mechanisms for all reactions to which they are exposed
3) to understand retrosynthetic analysis and design synthetic schemes for alkaloid natural products
And this course is opened for intermediate and advanced level, so students should have basic knowledges on organic chemistry.
