Dr. Sang-Hee Suh is currently the Director of the Center for Nanostructured Materials Technology, which is the biggest program in Korea for developing nanostructured materials. He received B.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering from SeoulNationalUniversity in 1974, M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 1976, and Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from NorthwesternUniversity in Evanston, ILU.S.A. in 1982. Since he joined Korea Institute of Science and Technology in 1976, his research interests have focused on manufacturing of tool steels and heat resistant super alloys, and processing of HgCdTe infrared detector materials and devices. He has authored or co-authored over 100 publications.
